About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. The role supports sales, store operations, inventory, product knowledge, and a positive retail environment. Associates assist customers with product selection and automotive advice, recommend products and promotions, and use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and suggest solutions. Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, offer trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment; assist team members and demonstrate leadership in daily work.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently using structured processes and follow company safety policies, including using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise as required.
• Maintain flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
