About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service by helping customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintaining inventory, and supporting store operations. The Retail Sales Associate delivers customer service, offers automotive guidance, supports sales, and helps maintain a positive retail environment. The role involves assisting customers with product selection, recommending products and promotions, maintaining merchandise and store organization, following point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, learning about parts and promotions, and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. The position requires flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and contribute to a motivated and productive store environment.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently by following established processes and company safety policies; use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
