About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintain stocked inventory, and support store sales and operations. The Retail Sales Associate helps deliver WOW! Customer Service by assisting customers with automotive needs, offering product recommendations and advice, and contributing to a positive retail environment. The role also supports daily store operations, inventory organization, safety compliance, and installation and diagnostic services.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and help maintain a motivated and productive store environment.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures, and support smooth store operations.
• Use established processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions.
