About The Position

AutoZone is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver customer service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, and support sales and store operations. The role involves providing automotive advice, recommending products and promotions, maintaining inventory and store organization, following point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. Associates work with managers and teammates to maintain a productive store environment, stay informed about products and promotions through AutoZone systems, and follow safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment. Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Complete assigned tasks using structured processes and follow company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
• Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise as required.
