About The Position
As a Retail Sales Associate at Best Buy, you’ll be the face of the company for customers visiting its stores. Best Buy provides training to help you confidently recommend technology products and services that meet each customer’s needs. The role is suited to someone with an interest in sales or helping people. The position involves welcoming and assisting customers, demonstrating products and making recommendations across departments, processing purchases and returns, keeping product knowledge current, maintaining the sales floor, and helping fulfill in-store and curbside pickup orders. A flexible schedule that includes holidays, nights, and weekends is required. Requirements
- At least 3 months of experience working in retail or another fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage with customers in a warm, friendly manner.
- Perform product demonstrations, answer questions, and recommend products and services that meet customers’ needs across all departments.
- Complete cashier duties for purchases, returns, and exchanges.
- Maintain appropriate product knowledge and expertise through ongoing learning and development.
- Help keep the sales floor clean and well stocked.
- Assist with in-store pickup and curbside pickup orders.
