About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide WOW! Customer Service by helping customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintaining inventory, and supporting store operations. Retail Sales Associates engage with customers, offer automotive advice, recommend products and promotions, and contribute to sales goals and store performance. They collaborate with teammates, keep merchandise stocked and organized, follow point-of-sale, loss-prevention, financial-management, and safety procedures, and use AutoZone systems to maintain product knowledge. The role also uses diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. Flexible schedule availability is required, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and support proper financial management.
• Keep store operations running smoothly and complete assigned tasks efficiently using structured processes.
• Follow company safety policies and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
