About The Position

AutoZone is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. The role supports sales and store operations by assisting customers with product selection and automotive advice, maintaining inventory and merchandise organization, and contributing to a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. Associates use AutoZone systems to stay informed about products and promotions and diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. The role requires following store processes, point-of-sale procedures, loss-prevention policies, and safety requirements, including use of personal protective equipment. Flexible availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed, is expected.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated and productive store environment; assist team members and demonstrate leadership in daily work.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Use established processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
