About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintain inventory, and support sales and store operations. The Retail Sales Associate delivers customer service by assisting customers with product selection and automotive advice, recommending products and promotions, and contributing to sales goals. The role also involves restocking and organizing merchandise, following point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, learning about products and promotions, and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule that may include mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and support smooth store operations.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently by following structured processes, company safety policies, and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
