About The Position

Retail Sales Associates support the customer experience across retail, rental, custom, and omni-channel businesses within a store location. They build customer relationships from greeting through post-sale contact, use established selling techniques, contribute to sales goals, assist with store operations, and create a positive team environment. Associates may have the opportunity to work voluntarily across multiple store or site locations and brands. Requirements

• Customer service skills and a customer-focused approach to delivering a world-class experience.
• Desire to learn and adapt to new programs.
• Ability to work well and consult with retail sales associates at all levels and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of a work shift; frequently bend, squat, and twist; lift up to 50 pounds; climb a ladder to reach merchandise or supplies; and see and distinguish fabric patterns and colors.

Responsibilities

• Engage as a member of a high-performing team through trust, commitment, and a focus on results.
• Build relationships with customers from greeting through post-sale contact.
• Demonstrate benchmark selling techniques for retail sales, custom clothing sales, and special occasion rentals.
• Encourage and participate in team selling and contribute to store sales volume and metrics goals.
• Assist with visual merchandising, setup, store-related projects, and merchandise stock counts.
• Operate the cash register and handle point-of-sale transactions.
