About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver customer service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. The role supports sales and store performance while maintaining inventory, assisting with product selection, and providing automotive advice. Associates work with managers and teammates to support store operations, follow safety and loss-prevention procedures, and contribute to a positive retail environment. The position also involves using diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous experience in automotive retail.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
Collaborate with managers and teammates to foster a productive store environment, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily work.
Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
Restock and organize merchandise; follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies; support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
Complete assigned tasks efficiently by following established processes and company safety policies, including use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
Lift, load, and deliver merchandise as needed.
