About The Position

Wild Bill’s Tobacco is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to provide customer service, support store operations, and help meet sales goals. The role includes shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours standing on the sales floor and may require travel within a 15-mile radius of the home store for shift coverage.

Requirements

• High school completion or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience in retail environments and customer service.
• Professional, energetic, and positive attitude.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Flexible scheduling availability.
• Ability to work shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours standing on the sales floor.
• Ability to twist, bend, squat, lift, and reach overhead.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, including greeting customers, answering phones, and assessing customer needs.
• Answer questions and resolve customer inquiries and concerns.
• Build relationships with customers and suggest products to meet their needs.
• Meet or exceed sales goals.
• Participate in opportunities to gain product knowledge.
• Participate in marketing efforts to solicit new business and promote the brand inside and outside the store.
• Assist with all retail store functions in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Keep the store clean and well-stocked.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Travel within a 15-mile radius of the home store for shift coverage, as needed.
• Work with store management to open, close, and operate the retail facility, including cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits according to operations control standards.
• Complete accurate paperwork and transactions according to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain the appearance of the store, back room, restrooms, and individual work area.
• Build customer confidence by making the shopping experience comfortable and simple while meeting customer needs.
• Assist with other tasks, duties, or projects assigned by management.
• Open and close the store, including locking doors and setting the alarm.
