About The Position

Retail Sales Associates support the customer experience across retail, rental, custom, and omnichannel businesses within a store location. They help customers from the initial greeting through post-sale contact, use established selling techniques, contribute to store sales goals, assist with merchandising and inventory activities, and operate the cash register. Associates may have the opportunity to work voluntarily at multiple store or site locations and across multiple brands. Requirements

• Provide customer-focused service and deliver a high-quality customer experience.
• Have a desire to learn and adapt to new programs.
• Work well and consult with retail sales associates at all levels and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Stand and walk for the majority of the work shift; frequently bend, squat, and twist; lift up to 50 lbs.; climb a ladder to reach merchandise or supplies; and see and distinguish fabric patterns and colors.

Responsibilities

• Engage as a member of a high-performing team through trust, commitment, and a focus on results.
• Build customer relationships from greeting through post-sale contact.
• Demonstrate benchmark selling techniques for retail sales, custom clothing sales, and special occasion rentals.
• Encourage and participate in team selling and contribute to store sales volume and metrics goals.
• Assist with visual merchandising, setup, other store projects, and merchandise stock counts.
• Operate the cash register at the point of sale.
