About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service and help customers find parts and solutions for automotive needs. Retail Sales Associates assist with product selection and provide automotive advice while supporting sales, store operations, inventory, and a positive retail environment. The role also includes using diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. Flexible schedule availability is required, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous experience in automotive retail.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management.
Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment (PPE).
Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
