About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams deliver WOW! Customer Service by helping customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Retail Sales Associates assist customers with product selection and automotive advice, support sales and store operations, and help maintain a knowledgeable, positive retail environment. The role also involves maintaining inventory, learning about automotive products and promotions, and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and assist team members.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
• Use established processes to complete tasks efficiently and follow safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
• Keep up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
