About The Position
The Office of Business, Hospitality, and Auxiliary Services is seeking a qualified Sales Associate for the University Stores. The primary location will be The University Store on Fifth, but the employee will be expected to rotate/support all stores and Copycat.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to accuracy and details
- Basic computer data entry skills
- Product knowledge
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
Responsibilities
- Process online sales
- Assisting customers with the selection of merchandise
- Ability to operate standard retail and copy/print equipment
- Maintains inventory of paper, bindery supplies, toner, and other consumables, orders supplies, and verifies accuracy of billing.
- Ability to process a variety of transactions such as cash, checks, bankcard, Panther funds, gift certificates & cards, University requisitions, credit memos, and bookstore accounts.
- Receive, stock, and merchandise products daily
- Responsible for maintaining the sales floor
- Participation in off-site events
