About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintain inventory, and support sales and store operations. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will help deliver WOW! Customer Service by assisting customers, sharing automotive product advice, and contributing to a knowledgeable and positive retail environment. The role offers opportunities for career growth in an essential industry serving the motoring public.

You will communicate with customers, recommend products and promotions, support sales goals, maintain merchandise and store organization, follow point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and comply with safety policies. You will also learn about automotive parts and promotions through AutoZone systems and use diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated and productive store environment, assist team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently, follow company safety policies, and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
