About The Position

EZCORP is hiring a Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service Team Member (Pawnbroker) for Value Pawn & Jewelry in Norcross, Georgia. The role provides daily customer interaction in a fast-paced retail environment, helping customers with sales and reaching mutually satisfying agreements regarding pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, and musical instruments. Team members are expected to provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful customer experience.

The position offers a structured career path, beginning with a five-week paid training program. Successful completion leads to a $0.50-per-hour raise and promotion to Pawnbroker. Employees may continue through a Pawnbroker Certification Program for an additional $1 per hour, pursue promotion to Lead Pawnbroker (Shift Leader), and follow a path toward Assistant Manager, which includes a six-month training program. Pay is based on experience, with a stated range of $15 to $16 per hour, and there is monthly uncapped bonus potential based on store and individual performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Customer service, cashier, or retail experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask.
• Self-motivation, a positive and outgoing personality, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test after a conditional offer.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms, or electronics.
• Sales background.
• Bilingual.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers in person and by phone.
• Provide excellent customer service in a friendly, courteous, and respectful manner.
• Process sales, loans, and extensions.
• Perform opening and closing store duties.
• Help customers reach mutually satisfying agreements regarding pawn items.
