About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service and help customers find the right parts and solutions for automotive needs. Store employees maintain inventory, assist with product selection, and provide automotive advice while supporting sales and store operations. The Retail Sales Associate helps deliver WOW! Customer Service, contributes to a positive retail environment, and supports customers with automotive products and services. The role includes assisting with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and contribute to a motivated and productive store environment.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow cash-handling and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
• Follow structured processes, company safety policies, and PPE requirements.
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
