About The Position
A Visionworks Optical Specialist/Retail Sales Associate represents the business and helps ensure a positive journey for every patient and customer. The associate is trained in optics, products and services, and managed vision care, and guides customers through the Visionworks experience to meet their eyewear needs. The role is part time, with a stated pay rate of $15–$17.57 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent related job experience.
Nice To Haves
- Related customer or patient experience is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver daily sales goals by executing the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
- Engage with patients and customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
- Measure patients and customers for eyewear and maintain optical and product knowledge through ongoing training and development to help ensure eyewear is right the first time.
- Perform day-to-day operational activities that support store financial and customer experience goals, including restocking inventory, merchandising, and fulfilling eyewear orders for shipment.
