About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service by helping customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintaining stocked inventory, and offering product guidance. The Retail Sales Associate contributes to sales and store operations while fostering a positive retail environment. The role includes assisting customers, recommending products and promotions, maintaining merchandise and store organization, following point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. Associates keep up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems and follow company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
• Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
