About The Position

AutoZone is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. The role contributes to sales and store performance while supporting inventory management, store operations, and a positive retail environment. Associates build product knowledge, provide automotive guidance, and use diagnostic tools to help customers identify solutions. AutoZone offers tools and support for employee growth in the automotive retail industry.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to foster a motivated and productive store environment; support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily work.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise; follow point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently using structured processes; follow safety policies and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain knowledge of automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise as needed.
