About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintain inventory, and support store operations. The Retail Sales Associate delivers customer service, provides automotive advice, recommends products and promotions, helps meet sales goals, and contributes to a positive and knowledgeable retail environment. Associates use AutoZone systems to learn about parts, tools, and promotions, and use diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. The role is part-time and offers opportunities for career growth.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, and weekends, with overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and contribute to a motivated, productive store environment.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise; follow point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies; and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete tasks efficiently, follow safety policies, and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
