Retail Sales Associate – Part Time
About The Position
AutoZone store teams deliver customer service by helping customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintaining inventory, and supporting store operations. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will help provide WOW! Customer Service, recommend products and services, and contribute to sales and store performance. You will also help maintain an organized, well-stocked store, follow operational and safety processes, and use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. The role offers opportunities for growth in the automotive retail industry.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
- Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
- Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
- Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in automotive retail.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
- Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
- Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
