About The Position
AutoZone’s store teams are the frontline of WOW! Customer Service, helping customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Store employees maintain well-stocked inventory, assist with product selection, and provide advice to enhance the shopping experience. They support sales and store operations while fostering a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. The Retail Sales Associate delivers WOW! Customer Service by exceeding customer expectations. The role involves customer assistance, product recommendations, store and inventory upkeep, and supporting team members. Associates also use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. A flexible schedule is required, including availability for mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
- Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
- Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in automotive retail.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions through clear, professional communication.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment; support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock merchandise, maintain organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
- Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently, follow company safety policies, and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
- Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
