About The Position

Our Retail Sales Associate makes a difference through dedication to providing fast, friendly service to our customers and donors. The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for creating a friendly, clean, and safe atmosphere where our customers and donors feel welcome and comfortable. This role involves operating a cash register, assisting telephone customers, supporting donors with merchandise transfers and tax receipts, maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the donation center, and assisting with stocking, rotation, and display of merchandise on the sales floor. Additionally, the associate will actively participate in fundraising efforts for the AbleLight charity through initiatives like “round ups” at the register. This position is with a Non-Profit organization that offers "Any Day Pay" allowing access to earned wages as soon as they are earned.

Requirements

Must be 14 years or older
Able to lift 40 lbs
Stand on your feet for up to eight hours

Responsibilities

Operate cash register accurately and efficiently.
Answer and respond to telephone customers in professional manner.
Support donors with their donations: Transfer merchandise from donor vehicle to building and offers tax receipts to every donor.
Keeps inside and outside of donation center organized and clean.
Assist in stocking sales floor, stock rotation, displays and organization of merchandise.
Actively participate and support raising funds for the AbleLight charity through “round ups” at the register and other events initiated by AbleLight.
