Retail Sales Associate – Part Time
About The Position
AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. The role involves offering trustworthy automotive advice, recommending products and promotions, supporting sales goals, maintaining inventory and store organization, and helping store operations run smoothly. Associates use AutoZone systems to stay current on products and promotions, and diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. They collaborate with managers and teammates, follow point-of-sale, loss-prevention, financial-management, and safety procedures, and use personal protective equipment as required. Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
- Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
- Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in automotive retail.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, offer trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and contribute to a motivated, productive store environment.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and support proper financial management.
- Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
- Use AutoZone systems to stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
- Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
