Retail Sales Associate – Part Time
About The Position
AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver customer service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, and contribute to sales and store operations. The role involves providing automotive advice, recommending products and promotions, maintaining inventory and store organization, following point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and supporting a safe, productive team environment. Associates also use AutoZone systems to build product knowledge and diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. Applicants must be at least 16 years old, be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise, and have flexible availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. Basic automotive-parts knowledge, bilingual Spanish and English communication skills, automotive retail experience, and ASE certification are preferred. Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and contribute to a motivated and productive store environment.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support sound financial management.
- Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment.
- Keep current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
