About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide WOW! Customer Service by helping customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Retail Sales Associates assist with product selection, offer automotive advice, maintain inventory, support store operations, and contribute to sales goals. The role involves using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions, while helping create a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise. Flexible availability is required, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Follow structured processes and company safety policies, including using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Keep up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
