About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams are the frontline of WOW! Customer Service, helping customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Retail Sales Associates assist with product selection and provide automotive advice while supporting sales, store operations, and a positive retail environment. The role includes maintaining merchandise and inventory, using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions, and following company processes and safety policies. This is a part-time position.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to foster a motivated, productive store environment; support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and comply with company safety policies, including use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
