About The Position
The Retail Sales Associate provides exceptional customer service, builds strong client relationships, and achieves sales targets. The associate maintains in-depth knowledge of Sunglass Hut products, current trends and styles, brand warranties, and optical add-on features to offer personalized recommendations. The role also supports a clean, organized, and appealing store environment and a seamless customer experience across online and in-store channels. This is a casual part-time position at Sunglass Hut MACYS. The posting lists a pay range ending at $20.60 and says employees may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in eyewear and/or luxury retail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
- Collaborative, adaptable, supportive, respectful, and open to feedback as a team player.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, including identifying issues, evaluating solutions, and implementing effective strategies; ability to handle workload pressure.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service and ensure clients have a memorable shopping experience.
- Stay current on industry trends and product knowledge, attending required training sessions and workshops.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the brand, warranties, and optical add-on features.
- Build and maintain client relationships in-store and through follow-up communication.
- Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets through upselling and cross-selling.
- Assist with minor adjustments and repairs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor and back-of-house areas.
- Provide omnichannel support for a seamless customer service experience across online and in-store platforms.
- Follow brand policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
