About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. Store employees maintain inventory, assist with product selection, provide automotive advice, support sales, and help maintain store operations. The Retail Sales Associate delivers WOW! Customer Service, supports customers and teammates, and contributes to a knowledgeable and positive retail environment. The role offers opportunities for growth in an essential industry serving the motoring public.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous experience in automotive retail.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
Restock and organize merchandise, follow cash-handling and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
Complete assigned tasks efficiently by following company processes and safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment.
Maintain knowledge of automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
