About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. The role supports sales and store performance by recommending products and promotions, providing trustworthy automotive advice, and maintaining a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. Associates also restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, use AutoZone systems to stay current on products and promotions, and use diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. The position requires the ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise, as well as schedule flexibility for mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. Applicants must be at least 16 years old. Basic automotive parts knowledge, bilingual Spanish and English communication skills, previous automotive retail experience, and ASE certification are preferred.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and contribute to a motivated, productive store environment.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Use established processes to complete tasks efficiently and follow safety policies, including using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
