Retail Sales Associate – Part Time
About The Position
AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. The role involves assisting customers with product selection and automotive advice, supporting sales and store performance, keeping inventory stocked and organized, and helping maintain smooth store operations. Associates use AutoZone systems to build product knowledge and diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. They collaborate with managers and teammates, follow point-of-sale, loss-prevention, and safety procedures, and use required Personal Protective Equipment. Flexible availability is needed, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
- Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
- Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
- Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in automotive retail.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and assist team members.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and support proper financial management and store operations.
- Complete assigned tasks using established processes and follow company safety policies, including using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
