About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams deliver WOW! Customer Service by helping customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintaining well-stocked inventory, and providing product guidance. The Retail Sales Associate helps exceed customer expectations through professional service, product recommendations, sales support, and daily store operations. The role also involves learning about automotive parts and promotions, supporting teammates, and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment; assist team members and demonstrate leadership in daily work.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support sound financial management and smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
