About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service and help customers find suitable parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Store employees maintain inventory, assist with product selection, and provide automotive advice, while supporting sales and day-to-day store operations. The Retail Sales Associate helps deliver WOW! Customer Service, contributes to a positive retail environment, and supports customers with automotive products and solutions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to foster a motivated, productive store environment; support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Use established processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
• Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
