About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service by helping customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Store employees maintain inventory, assist with product selection, and provide advice to improve the shopping experience. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will help deliver WOW! Customer Service, contribute to sales and store operations, and support a knowledgeable, positive retail environment. The role offers opportunities for growth in an essential industry serving the motoring public.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to foster a motivated, productive store environment; support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently by following structured processes and company safety policies, including using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
