About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver customer service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. The role supports sales and store operations by advising customers, maintaining inventory, learning about products and promotions, and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and contribute to a productive store environment.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise; follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies; and support smooth store operations.
• Complete assigned tasks using established processes and follow safety policies, including use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Keep current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise as required.
