About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. Store employees maintain inventory, assist with product selection, and provide automotive advice while contributing to sales, store operations, and a positive retail environment. The Retail Sales Associate delivers WOW! Customer Service, helps exceed customer expectations, and supports customers in an essential industry serving the motoring public.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to foster a motivated, productive store environment; support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow cash-handling procedures and loss-prevention policies, and help keep store operations running smoothly.
• Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently, follow safety policies, and use personal protective equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
