Retail Sales Associate – Part Time
About The Position
AutoZone’s store teams deliver customer service by helping customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintaining inventory, and supporting store operations. The Retail Sales Associate provides customer assistance and automotive advice, recommends products and promotions, supports sales goals, and helps keep the store organized and operating smoothly. The role also includes using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions, keeping current on automotive products and promotions, and following company processes and safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment. This is a part-time position. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise. Flexible availability is required, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates, support coworkers, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management.
- Use structured processes to complete tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
- Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
