About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams deliver WOW! Customer Service by helping customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Retail Sales Associates assist customers with product selection and automotive advice, support sales and store operations, and help maintain a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. The role includes recommending products and promotions, keeping merchandise stocked and organized, following point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and using diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. Associates work with managers and teammates, follow safety policies, and use required personal protective equipment. A flexible schedule may include mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to foster a motivated, productive store environment; support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
• Stay informed about automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
