About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver customer service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, and contribute to store sales and operations. The role involves advising customers, recommending products and promotions, maintaining inventory and store organization, following point-of-sale and safety procedures, and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. Associates work with managers and teammates in a customer-focused retail environment and can pursue opportunities for career growth.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently using structured processes and follow company safety policies, including using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Keep automotive parts, tools, and promotion knowledge current through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
