About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service by helping customers find parts and solutions for automotive needs. Retail Sales Associates assist with product selection and automotive advice, maintain inventory, contribute to sales and store operations, and help foster a positive retail environment. The role includes using diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. Flexible schedule availability is required, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management.
• Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
