About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. Retail Sales Associates assist with product selection, offer automotive advice, support sales and store operations, and help maintain a positive retail environment. They contribute to a well-stocked, organized store and use AutoZone systems to build product knowledge. The role also includes using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous automotive retail experience.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily work.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management.
• Complete assigned tasks using established processes and follow safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
