About The Position

AutoZone is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver customer service, assist customers with automotive parts and solutions, and contribute to sales and store operations. The role involves providing product recommendations and automotive guidance, maintaining inventory and store organization, using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes, and following established procedures and safety policies. Associates work with managers and teammates to support a productive store environment. AutoZone provides tools and support for employees’ success and career growth.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and support smooth store operations and proper financial management.
• Complete assigned tasks using structured processes and follow safety policies, including use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Keep up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise as required.
