About The Position

AutoZone’s Retail Sales Associates are part of the frontline store team, delivering customer service and helping customers find automotive parts and solutions. The role includes assisting with product selection, providing automotive advice, supporting sales and store operations, and maintaining an organized, well-stocked store. Associates collaborate with managers and teammates, keep their product knowledge current, and use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. The position requires the ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise, and schedule availability for mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and assist team members.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management.
• Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks and follow safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
