About The Position
The Retail Sales Associate has the opportunity to develop great relationships with our repeat customers in addition to informing the first-time customer of everything we have to offer. The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for enhancing customer experience and sales generation in the following areas.
Requirements
- Retail experience
- Familiar with hockey and figure skating equipment fittings, repairs, and sharpening
- Must be highly organized with the ability to multi-task
- Self-starter with a high degree of enthusiasm, creative vision and ability to lead in a high-stress environment
- Be able to make decisions in a fast-paced atmosphere
- Must have strong interpersonal communication skills
- Familiar with operating point of sale system
Responsibilities
- Processes sales on point of sale
- Responsible for maintaining accuracy of cash drawer
- Greets and assists guests
- Assists with fitting guests in hockey and figure skating equipment and finding correct sizes
- Sharpens skates and repairs equipment
- Assists guests with purchasing decisions
- Maintains pro-shop as merchandised
- Maintains cleanliness of all retail areas
- Applies names and numbers to jerseys with heat press
- Additional projects tasks and events assigned
