Retail Sales Associate – Part Time
About The Position
AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver customer service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. The role involves assisting with product selection, offering automotive advice, supporting sales and store operations, maintaining inventory, and contributing to a positive retail environment. Associates use AutoZone systems to build product knowledge and diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. The position requires schedule flexibility, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed, and the ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock and organize merchandise; follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies; and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently using structured processes and comply with safety policies, including use of required personal protective equipment.
- Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
