About The Position

Sun Tan City is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate for a high-energy salon environment. The role focuses on building positive relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and recommending products and services. Team members provide professional customer service, meet minimum sales requirements, and help maintain the cleanliness and operation of the salon. The position may require working independently and alone during shifts as business needs require. The stated base pay is $12.50 per hour or more, with performance bonuses. The advertised average earnings of $15.50 per hour are not guaranteed and reflect team members who meet performance and training criteria. Requirements

Basic computer skills and knowledge.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment.
Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, and other items from floors.
Ability to perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent, professional customer service and ensure clients’ needs are met.
Build positive relationships with clients and understand and meet their needs.
Recommend products and services to clients.
Maintain minimum sales requirements.
Multitask, including cleaning tanning beds as clients leave and engaging with new clients as they arrive.
Help maintain cleanliness in tanning rooms, the lobby, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas.
Work cohesively with a team in an upbeat, fast-paced salon environment while following company policies and procedures.
Work independently and alone during shifts when business needs require.
