Retail Sales Associate – Part Time
About The Position
AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. The associate assists with product selection and automotive advice, supports sales and store performance, maintains inventory and store organization, and helps ensure smooth and safe store operations. The role also involves using AutoZone systems to stay current on parts, tools, and promotions, and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
- Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
- Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
- Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in automotive retail.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock merchandise, maintain organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
- Use structured processes to complete tasks efficiently and follow safety policies, including using personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
- Lift, load, and deliver merchandise as needed.
