About The Position

AutoZone is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to provide WOW! Customer Service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. The role supports sales and store operations by assisting customers with product selection and automotive advice, maintaining inventory and merchandise organization, and contributing to a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. Associates use AutoZone systems to learn about products, tools, and promotions, and diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. The position requires availability for a flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed, and the ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise. Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management.
• Use structured processes to complete tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including use of required personal protective equipment.
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise as needed.
